During winter, The Hague is entirely dedicated to Christmas. From 15 until 22 December, the Royal Christmas Fair at Lange Vijverberg brings visitors into the ultimate Christmas atmosphere with twinklink lights, wood carving, hot chocolate, glühwein and Christmas songs. A beautiful light show about The Hague history will also take place every evening, projected on the Binnenhof.
In line with The Hague as the residence and workplace of King Willem-Alexanderand Queen Maxima, the market has the theme 'royal and international'. The eight days before Christmas, the Royal Christmas Fair will be held, with a view on the beautifully lit Hofvijver (pond next to the Parliament building); it will be the perfect place to do Christmas shopping and taste the Christmas atmosphere.
