During the winter, The Hague is dedicated to Christmas. From 15 - 22 December, the Royal Christmas Fair on Lange Vijverberg will bring visitors into the ultimate Christmas mood with twinkling lights, wood carving, warm chocolate milk, glühwein and Christmas carols.
Each evening, a beautiful light show featuring the history of The Hague will be projected on the Binnenhof. In keeping with The Hague's status as the residence and workplace of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, the Christmas market will have a 'royal and international' theme. The Royal Christmas Fair, with a view of the illuminated Hofvijver, is the top spot to do your Christmas shopping and soak up the Christmas atmosphere.
